North Platte has added color coding to bus routes for the 2026-2027 school year! If you have any questions, please contact the office in which your student goes to school.

A huge congratulations to North Platte 3rd grade teacher, Becky Pendleton! Her classroom was the winner of a $500 grant from the Missouri Retired Teacher's Program Public School Grant Fund! Mrs. Pendleton wrote the grant for supplies in hands on math learning with a specific focus on improving multiplication skills! Thank you to MRTA and Mrs. Pendleton for your dedication to North Platte students!

The North Platte staff was back on campus today for Day 1 of teacher in services! Our staff is excited to begin the 2026-2027 school year and welcome students on Monday, August 24th!

JH Fall Sports start tomorrow. Be sure to turn in your physical and pre-participation form so your athlete can practice. The times for practice tomorrow are: JH Volleyball from 3:00-4:45 in the JH gym. JH Football from 3:20-5:30 starting in the weight room. JH Softball from 3:30-5:00 at Camden Point Park. JH Cheer from 6:30-7:30AM in the JH gym. JH XC from 6:20-7:45AM.

This morning was the first football practice on the turf! It was great to see the team out there getting better! Be sure to come check out the Panthers this Saturday at the Hydration Scrimmage!

Week 1 for Varsity football has been moved to Savannah HS due to ongoing construction on the track/field. We will play at 7:00 PM on August 28th against Gallatin.

For high school pictures- Seniors ONLY at 4-4:45 pm. Juniors at 4:45, Sophomores at 5:30 pm and Freshmen at 6:15 pm. Seniors- boys please wear a button up shirt and tie. Girls, please do not wear anything low cut, no spaghetti strap outfits, etc. for your composite.

Fall Sports season is underway with some Midnight Madness by our softball and volleyball teams! Due to some lightning, softball had to adjust and head inside to the weight room. Volleyball got things kicked off with a glow in the dark volleyball scrimmage! Go Panthers!

North Platte has a revamped website and a new app! Go to the app store and download the new North Platte app and enable notifications to stay up to date on everything going on with the Panthers!

The turf football field and track resurfacing project are still on track to be completed September 15th. The final track surface layer is expected to begin being laid on August 24th. The field is anticipated to be completed the afternoon of either August 10th or August 11th. No one is allowed on the facility while the track surface is being laid and cured from August 24th to approximately September 15th. However, we should have an almost 2 week window from when the field will be completed and the final track surface will be laid. This will allow a window for our athletic teams to use the field surface for the first two weeks of high school practice, first week of JH practice, and band camp. As anticipated, the first football game on August 28th will be a neutral site game. Details for this game are being finalized and will be announced in the next few days. We anticipate to play the second HS home game, Homecoming, on the new field on September 18th!

Reminder,

MSHSAA Dead Week runs from August 1st through August 9th. Practices, workouts, open gyms and use of school facilities are not allowed. Also, player and coach contact is prohibited.

First day of practice for fall sports is on August 10th.
