RECYCLING PROGRAM
North Platte has arranged with Deffenbaugh Industries to provide a recycling container on the campus of the North Platte High School. The recycling container is located inside the gates of the northern parking area just east of the football announcer's booth. The gates will be open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A glass recycling container is also in place.

The National Honor Society will be available the following Saturdays from 8:30-10:00 a.m. to assist patrons with their recycling:

Newspapers, magazines, catalogs and office paper, including shredded paper, may still be placed in the Abitibi Paper Recycling container, which is located outside of the gates. Please do not place cardboard in the Abitibi container. Cardboard may be placed in the Deffenbaugh recycling container. Please do not leave items on the ground near the recycling containers or refuse dumpsters.
