Dr. Jeffrey A. Sumy has served as Superintendent of the North Platte R-I School District since July 1, 2008. Dr. Sumy was previously Superintendent of Schools at Wellington-Napoleon R-IX; Wellington, Missouri; High School Principal and Assistant High School Principal at Oak Grove R-VI, Oak Grove, Missouri; Secondary Principal at Bedford Community Schools, Bedford, Iowa; Secondary Principal and Athletic Director at South Nodaway R-IV, Barnard, Missouri; Middle School Social Studies teacher at South Holt R-I, Oregon, Missouri; and Middle School Social Studies and Elementary Physical Education teacher at Nodaway-Holt R-VII, Maitland, Missouri.
During her thirty-one years with North Platte, Mrs. Bobbie Courtney has served as Board Secretary, Secretary to the Superintendent, Bookkeeper, and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent.
Mrs. Diana Blankenship has been with North Platte since November 2001, and serves as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, and Board Secretary.
